From Zero Clients to Cold Call Wins: How She Built a Business in 2 Hours a Day

You know those moments when you see someone absolutely crushing it and you think, "Man, I wish I could do that"?

Let me tell you about Sadie Ray.

When I first met Sadie, she had just left her job at the mill where she was working 60-hour weeks during shutdown season. She had a new baby. She was trying to make e-commerce work. And she was networking in Facebook groups that were mostly bots and job posts for the Philippines.

Here's one of my favorite parts of Sadie's journey.

She did NOT want to show her face online. She was convinced she could stay behind the scenes and build her business that way.

But then it got stagnant.

I kept telling her about B-roll. She kept putting it off. She had all these reasons why she didn't have to do it.

Then one of the girls in Sales Mama School took her on a call and basically said, "We're going live. Right now. In 10 minutes."

And Sadie was like, "Oh, nothing. Just sitting here."

"Great. We're doing it."

That's the power of community. That's what happens when you're surrounded by women who aren't going to let you play small.

Since that day? Sadie's been showing up. Posting. Getting visible. And her business has grown because of it.

What Success Looks Like Now

I asked Sadie what success looks like for her now, and here's what she said:

"I started this whole thing because of my daughter, and I wanted to spend time with her and I'm getting to do that and it's the best feeling in the world."

She's also saving for a 2025 Forerunner. And she knows it's coming. Not because she's hoping. Because she's building a business that's actually making money.

"The things that I need and the things that I want are not far away if I just keep putting this effort and keep showing up."

That's what I want for every woman reading this. Not just the business wins. The life wins. The freedom. The ability to be present for your kids while building something that's yours.

The One Thing She Had to Let Go Of

I asked Sadie what belief she had to let go of to step into this next level.

Her answer? Putting her face out there.

She thought she could hide behind the scenes. She thought showing up on camera wasn't necessary for her business.

But once she let that go? Once she got uncomfortable and did it anyway?

Everything changed.

So here's my question for you: What belief are you holding onto that's keeping you stuck?

Because I'm going to call BS on all of that.

Sadie wasn't ready. She didn't think she had what it took. She was a new mom trying to figure it all out.
